Home School Moms, Dads, and Students: What Works Best for you?
A fourth "How to Succeed" volume is currently in the works. It's all about creative and critical methods of home schooling. We seek your input! Your words of wisdom and advice and your inspiration ideas are asked for. Vignettes as short as a sentence are fine -- after all, brevity is the quickest way to hit the mark! But if you want to pen your thoughts in longer form, full essays are also called for. Please contact the author/editor, Nancy Riecken, with your ideas, at [email protected] or [email protected].
Nancy Riecken and her husband home schooled their three children from K-12, and then saw them successfully complete college degrees. Two of their children home school their own children. But efforts to help others didn't stop with the end of home schooling. You all know Nancy's writing and teaching strengths, and her work with the Community Writers to encourage creativity and literacy throughout local communities and through outreach efforts with non-profit organizations. This fourth volume, How to Succeed in Your Home School, will include her experienced advice as well as that of other families who have home schooled.
We hope you'll get on board the home school train and send your ideas for potential publication in this fourth volume. Publication will be in 2016, but the deadline for your submissions is December 1, 2016.

What's up with this site? What's it all about and why is it here?
This website is an outpouring of ideas from writers around the world who want to encourage creative and critical thinking.
